It is interesting to read Darragha Foster’s debut effort Love’s Second Sight because it is so… normal. Of course, it’s not too normal since we have the Norse god Loki as a villain and the heroine Thorgunna is a witch with the sight, but compared to the author’s future books which feature Viking studmuffins trapped in whalebone…and shapeshifting Orca whale heroes, this book is pretty normal. Fans of her later books may be taken aback when they start to read Love’s Second Sight and discover how down-to-earth this story could be at first. The second half of the story though can be pretty darkly humorous in a macabre manner—Mrs. Giggles
Love’s Second Sight is a very profound and intense story with the romance often being bittersweet. Thorgunna and Leif are separated and long for each other and while away Leif is faithful in his love, he wanders a bit. This is a very sexual story that is often mixed with violence. It’s not for the faint of heart. Love’s Second Sight is fascinating, dark and sensual. It will take you on an unforgettable journey.—Nannette, viewed for Joyfully Reviewed
“Love’s Second Sight” is brimming with supernatural events, demonic inspired turmoils and the search for the one thing that will end the terror and the evil plot of the self-made god, Loki. That can only be accomplished in the acceptance of the White Christ who has authority over all. Unfortunately, Thorgunna must battle her own fears, doubts and hatred that has been instilled in her from previous self-made demonic gods, before she would ever be able to trust in the true God, a God she cannot see. Her journey and that of Leif’s causes one to wonder if theirs will always be a forbidden love. Wonder if she will ever open her eyes to the only God who truly can transform her life and still the storm within her. The answer to that you will have to find out yourself.—Shirley Johnson, MidWest Book Review

REVIEWS:
“Spell-Crafted for Pleasure in every respect lives up to the promise of its title. Darragha Foster can write only stories so hot the reader seems to see smoke and steam rising from the pages… — Annie of Euro-Reviews
“A Witch In Time to be an enjoyable and engaging anthology…Darragha Foster lets you experience age-old love…woven into an intriguing tale that incorporates Norse culture and some aspects of occult practices… Aggie Tsirikas of Just Erotic Romance Reviews
As always, Ms. Foster certainly knows her shit when it comes to Viking mythology and it shows. She can give a mythology lesson and make it seem fun!”—Dionne Galace of It Ain’t Chick Porn
Darragha Foster’s Spell-Crafted For Pleasure…the author takes the trouble to lay down enough details to allow the reader to be familiar with the set-up and the characters…This story actually feels like a complete story…because there is build-up and plot development. I like how Salem is a sexual heroine without having to resort to contrived virginity status or other tricks some authors use to keep their erotic romance heroines “pure” and “likeable” and she can take care of herself as well, which is always great.
Will Darragha Foster have a really good full-length book waiting to surprise me? I want to know. Hey, maybe Dorchester can give this author a chance in the LoveSpell imprint or something?

Devil’s Food Kate REVIEWS:
One very good thing about Devil’s Food Kate is that the author has…found a decent balance between sexual tension/scenes of intimacy with plot development. The story is coherent and flows smoothly. Devil’s Food Kate feels like a complete and well-written from start to finish. Technique-wise, therefore, I think Ms Foster got it right.
I also adore the ending which sees Kate throwing Odin’s he-man antics right back at his face. How can I not adore a heroine who tells the hero, “I am a self-made woman, Odin – not a simpleton with a magic vagina and holy womb!” Her confrontation with Odin is too good not only because Kate manages to show Odin that he cannot boss her around, I can’t helping thinking that everything about the scene is a very nice jab at all those oh-so-helpless and oh-so-innocent heroines in too many paranormal stories that end up finding love after serving as, er, magic vaginas for the heroes. Odin starts out thinking that Kate is so innocent and therefore so sweet and so marriageable only to have Kate show him how wrong he is. And he, of course, loves being proven wrong this one time. –Mrs. Giggles
Death Warmed Over REVIEWS:
From were-orcas whales to cowboy incubus heroes…to the Queen of the Underworld looking for love…one thing I have to say about Darragha Foster: her execution of her stories may sometimes be flawed, but there is never one boring moment (on) Planet Darragha… I really love how Ms Foster takes a particular aspect of Norse mythology and uses it to create an interesting setting for her story. And the heroine! And what an interesting heroine Hel promises to be… love Death Warmed Over – Mrs. Giggles
Devil King Of The Sixth Heaven
REVIEWS:
“When an author hits the ground running at the speed with which Darragha Foster has stunned the ebook world, one might wonder whether that quality will persevere. The reader need have no doubt with Ms. Foster. Once again, as with book after book, she has startled and astonished this reviewer with the depths and reaches of her imagination, and her talent of creatively expressing romance and erotic intimacy in ways that are new and fresh in every story. Race to buy this book and its upcoming sequels, and while you’re at it, pick up every other book by Ms. Foster too. They are well worth it! – Annie of Euro-Reviews
“First in the Teaching Gods New Tricks series, Devil King of the Sixth Heaven is a highly erotic, sensually evocative novella, with larger than life characters that will stay with you long after you finish the final pages. Loki is the ultimate bad boy, teasing Liliah with the two things she wants most in the world – sex and chocolate. It doesn’t matter if you are a little rusty on your Norse mythology as Ms Foster’s depth and scope of narrative explains all the nuances. She even includes a glossary and some extra information. The sex scenes are hot enough that this reviewer almost had to call out the fire department! Yet at the heart of the book lies a touching love story and the redemption of the mischievous outcast, Loki. — Donna of A Romance Review
